We had the Feminist Club's first booth yesterday. It was a lot of hard work, but it paid off. We had the booth up for 8 hours. We had the whole table covered with informative papers, informative papers to take, pictures, etc. Kaylan and Zefer sat at the booth with me. We only got a few mean comments and only one guy I had to threaten to get him away from the booth. We got 29 new members, making it so we now have 45 members total. Woo hoo. I think the next meeting will be fun. There a lot more work to do now and a lot more pressure to do things well. But that will be good I think. It really helped to have the booth. I was starting to get uninspired with activist work and frustrated with undedicated members. But I feel ready to get more into it again. We have some more hard-core people this semester. They aren't "stereotypically hardcore" but they seem to know what they're doing, which is awesome. I'm really proud of the club. I'm even more excited about Feminist work and social activism. If things go well, I might be on the brink of changing some aspects of my lifestyle and work. My life use to be more like that in high school. I lived and breathed feminism 24 hours a day. I was a walking billboard for my causes. It was intense and exciting. I don't think I'll go as far as I did before, but it would be nice to do more. Maybe I'll find some new and exciting ways to do work or express myself now.

This break has been interesting. Some drama between friends, but nothing too horrible.
I went to a party last night, it was interesting. There was a lot of talk about politics, sociology, and religion. I found it interesting. I have tons of homework and club work to do, hopefully I can get it all done soon.
I tried dating again. I went out on a few dates with a guy (over a couple weeks). I thought I was freaking out because I was scared of dating, relationships, and guys. But I realized that he really wasn't what I would be looking for in a guy. I hope that I won't freak out if I do date a cool guy. I think I want to date. It would be nice to have someone to hang out with and cuddle with, etc. There's maybe a couple of aquaintances that I'd like to get to know better. It's been hard seeing the people I do like cuddling and kissing their girlfriends. It made me realize that I might want that too.
I think I might be getting sick. I can't think very well, I'm oddly sensitive to temperature, and my nose is sniffly. :-(

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone! I had a pretty good V-day. I got a cute valentine from a nice guy. He threw it on my balcony and ran. It was a box of chocolate that had a note that asked if I wanted to go out sometime. :-) I thought it was cute.
The school had free psychic/palm readings. It was funny how bad mine was. She asked broad questions that were so off for me, lol. Here's the convo:
her: I'm sensing that there is a sport your really into.
me: No, no sports.
her: a sport to watch or play?
me: no, I don't like to watch them or play them.
her: What about some sort of physical activity?
me: no, I don't really like any physical activities
her: huh. What about dance? Tap, jazz, ballet, dancing around alone in your room? Any of those?
me: I kind of like dancing in my room.
her: yes! yes. I'm sensing that.
Her: I'm sensing that you want two children, right?
me: three actually
her: oh yes, I see you having two boys and a girl actually.

I'd like to say Happy Birthday to Vince (I know it was yesterday). I hope you had an awesome birthday!
I had a good weekend. I hung out with Kaylan on Friday and Saturday. We drove around randomly until we got lost on Friday. (We going near Delta, lol). I also ate dinner with my Aunt, Uncle, and two cousins. We got some awesome pizza (mushroom and spinach pizza). Saturday was fun too. Sunday I got tons of work done. I went to the cool church (they talked about how the metaphore of Jesus dieing on the cross not only doesn't make sence, but it promotes violence in the world). Then I got all my homework done, worked out, hung out with some friends, painted, and other random things I had been wanting to do.
